Policy uncertainty is acting as a drag on the global economy, says Paul Gruenwald, Global Chief Economist of S&P Global Ratings, as businesses and individuals hold back from spending because they don’t know what’s coming.

Gruenwald is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Chief Economists Community, which convenes experts to deepen understanding of current economic developments and identify policy priorities in the face of unprecedented levels of uncertainty.
