‘What Are the Green Jobs of the Future?’ - Radio Davos

On the one hand, the green transition is going to create a lot of green jobs. On the other hand, there will be those that are working in what is known as ‘brown sectors’ that are going to be losing out their roles. And so there has to be a greater focus on ensuring that this is not only about the growing roles or the growing skills, but also about ensuring that those that will be losing out, that may be displaced, are reskilled, are upskilled and are supported in their transition to new roles. But what are these green jobs of the future? The World Economic Forum’s Saadia Zahidi answers the question in this Radio Davos episode hosted by Robin Pomeroy.
