Workers with disabilities are paid 12% less per hour than their colleagues

The study by the International Labor Organization (ILO) found a 6% gender pay gap between women and men with disabilities in developed countries and a 5% gender pay gap in developing countries. The ILO says the tools for closing the disability wage gap already exist, including international frameworks such as the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
