Zürich Referendum Enshrines The Circular Economy In Constitution

Zurich is the largest of Switzerland’s 10 cantons and the first to enshrine a circular economy in law. 90% of the residents say yes to the idea in a referendum. Right now, each Zurich resident generates 3 tonnes of waste a year, 2 tonnes of which is recycled. But how is the city planning to implement a circular economy? Watch to know.
