Akira Sakano is Chair of the Board of Directors at Zero Waste Academy, non-for-profit organization based in the smallest town of Shikoku island called "Kamikatsu", drives the "Zero Waste" policy implementation of the town based on 3R. She is also Co-Founder and Communication Director of RDND LLC and a World Economic Forum Global Shaper. Previously, after working for AIESEC in Japan, Mongolia and global, spent 2 years in the Philippines being a Trade Lane Management Head for Sales in DHL Global Forwarding, then back in Japan now working for the sustainable rural community development.
