Nancy Zhang is an Associate in Heidrick & Struggles’ New York office and is a member of the global CEO & Board practice, where she supports research strategy, talent generation, and leadership selection of top-level executives and board members across a variety of industries. Nancy joined the firm as part of the Associate Development Program, a one-year rotational experience designed to develop search execution skills and business acumen. She spent the year working across multiple industries and functions, including Financial Services, Global Technology & Services, CEO & Board of Directors and Leadership Consulting. Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Nancy investigated civil justice issues at the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, including medical malpractice and worker safety cases. She also has an extensive background working with non-profit organizations, most notably the U.S. Fund for UNICEF and Kiwanis International, where she gained fluency in program management, fundraising, and strategic planning. Nancy earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and French & Romance Philology from Columbia University, during which time she studied at the Institute of Political Studies in Paris. She speaks English, French, and Mandarin Chinese.
