Following the critical success of his first book, The Bloodless Revolution (2006), and his international prize-winning book, Waste: Uncovering the Global Food Scandal (Penguin, 2009), Tristram Stuart founded the environmental charity Feedback which spawned a global movement against food waste with campaign wins on every inhabitable continent, and strives to transform the world’s food system from humanity’s biggest environmental burden to our most potent tool in reversing this. Tristram is an Ashoka Fellow, a National Geographic Emerging Explorer, UN Champion of SDG 12.3, and his TED talk has been viewed over 1.7 million times. In 2016 Tristram founded Toast Ale which upcycles unsold fresh bread into craft beer, and pours 100% distributable profits into Feedback & aligned charities. Already brewing in 5 countries, Toast Ale has won numerous prizes both for its sustainability & the sheer taste of the beer. Bread shouldn't be wasted, and neither should you. Drink responsibly.
