Geneva, Switzerland, 2 October 2020 Media sign-up is now open for the World Economic Forum’s Inaugural Jobs Reset Summit on 20-23 October. The virtual four-day event will convene visionary leaders from business, international organizations, government, civil society, media and the broader public to shape a new agenda for growth, jobs, skills and equity.

The combined health and economic shocks of 2020 have sent economies into freefall, disrupted labour markets and fully revealed the inadequacies of social contracts. As countries emerge from the crisis, there is an opportunity to proactively shape a new economy that provides opportunity for all.

The Jobs Reset Summit will aim to develop new frameworks and accelerate action on four interrelated challenges:
Day 1 - Economic Growth, Revival and Transformation
Day 2 - Work, Wages and Job Creation
Day 3 - Education, Skills and Lifelong Learning
Day 4 - Equity, Inclusion and Social Justice

Members of the media who sign up as reporting press will have exclusive access to: webcast sessions and the opportunity to ask questions to participants; issue briefings and media sessions; networking opportunities with senior executives and global innovators; and embargoed reports and company announcements. Following sign-up, media will receive personalized login details closer to the meeting dates.
