11 Stunning Entries to the Close-Up Photography of the Year 2023 Competition

The 4th Close-up Photography of the Year competition attracted 9,000 entries from 54 countries. These include Nature’s Pitfall by Samantha Stephens, which won the contest and showed a carnivorous plant digesting 2 juvenile salamanders. Another one is Intruder by Anirban Dutta, which captured a drongo bird catching termites in flight at a gas station in India.
