This is why improving the working conditions, and pay of the sector will also benefit gender equality as well as strengthening food security and boosting living conditions. These 3 Sahel-based innovators are showing women leaders can gain from the agroforestry movement. All 3 innovators are winners of UpLink and 1t.org’s Sahel and Great Green Wall Challenge. A competition that aims to source and scale solutions that contribute to the Great Green Wall Initiative and which deliver benefits to people and the environment of the Sahel.
