London’s Ultra Low Emission Zone Will Soon Cover the Entire City

From August 2023, every vehicle must meet strict emissions standards or pay a £12.50 daily charge. The first ultra low emission zone (ULEZ) was launched in 2019 across London’s inner boroughs. It was last expanded in 2021 to 18 times its original size. Today, 4 million Londoners breathe cleaner air as a result. Next year’s Ultra Low Emission Zone expansion will more than quadruple the existing area. Watch to learn more.
