METATUT- the First Egyptian City in the Metaverse

METATUT takes visitors back in time to ancient Egypt. It launched on the 100th anniversary of the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb. This towering city floats in a star-filled cosmos. Visitors learn about Egypt’s history as they travel through its halls. You don’t need a VR headset to visit METATUT; you can take a tour using your laptop or mobile device. The metaverse is a fully immersive digital reality. Its proponents say it will improve how we deliver education, healthcare, and training, as well as create new cultural experiences, such as METATUT. But experts also worry about privacy and security concerns as well as economic implications.
