This device can detect epileptic seizures during sleep

It’s a comfortable armband which traces changes in heart rate and certain movement patterns. When it detects a potentially dangerous seizure, NightWatch sends an alert to caregivers so they can take appropriate measures. Many epileptic seizures go undetected during the night which can be dangerous for people with epilepsy. NightWatch can be used at home or linked to existing nurse call systems in a hospital.
