This lawyer is making Pakistan’s legal system fairer for women

‘It is my passion to work towards women’s freedom in my country.’ Lawyer Khushbakht Shah Jillani stands up for women’s rights in Pakistan's courts - and two years ago, she persuaded the high court to redefine a 136-year-old law to give working mothers more rights. Khushbakht Shah Jillani is part of the Global Shapers Community, a World Economic Forum initiative that comprises more than 11,000 young innovators, activists and changemakers from around the world.
