This Orchestra Built Their Own Recycled Instruments From Waste
Paraguay's Cateura Orchestra of Recycled Instruments is a band with a difference. Every single instrument you can hear is made from recycled waste. The band - who are all under 21 - built them by hand. They played at a special concert at a landfill in La Paz in Bolivia for an audience of cleaners, waste workers and neighbours. So far, the Cateura Orchestra has performed in 51 countries to promote recycling culture around the world. Watch the video to learn more about Paraguay's Cateura Orchestra of Recycled Instruments.
