POSH takes apart battery packs at the end of their lives so their component parts can be recycled and reused. The need to recycle batteries poses an increasingly urgent challenge. Experts say around 15 million tonnes of EV batteries will be discarded this decade. Recycling EV batteries can cut CO2 emissions by 30% compared with making new lithium-ion batteries.
