While some people are handing over their calendars, email inboxes and shopping to AI agents, others can’t imagine doing so. Have these AI tools earned our trust yet? How can governments, organizations and individuals make sure they’re safe to use? And what does our approach to AI tools say about trust in wider society? Three experts discuss: Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence for the United Arab Emirates; Mark-Alexandre Doumba, Minister of Digital Economy and Innovation for Gabon; and Yalda Aoukar, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Bracket Capital. They were speaking at the Annual Meeting for Global Future Leaders in Dubai, which brought together emerging pioneers under 40 alongside scientists, entrepreneurs, policy-makers and cultural voices.
