Alejandro del Valle is a doctoral candidate in Economics at the Paris School of Economics, and a visiting student researcher at the University of California Berkeley. His work aims to understand how insurance can be used to improve welfare. His current research provides new insights into the labor market effects of publicly subsidize health insurance, and the behavioral responses triggered by these types of programs.
