Aleksandra Agatowska

Chief Executive Officer, PZU Życie, PZU Group

a manager with extensive knowledge of the insurance and financial industries. She joined the PZU Życie SA Management Board in 2016 and has been its president since February 2021. PZU Życie SA is the largest life insurance company in Poland. It holds over 30% market share, measured by the gross premium value, and serves more than 11 million customers. It has been a leader in group and individual protective insurance for years. PZU Życie SA is part of the PZU Capital Group.
Aleksandra Agatowska previously gained professional experience at various global corporations, such as members of the ING Group, HDI (now Warta), Sony Europe, and Philips S.A., where she oversaw the marketing and business intelligence team in 17 countries. She also worked with Jagiellonian University's Public Policy Evaluation and Analysis Center.
She received her degree from Jagiellonian University's Sociology Faculty. She also finished multiple management programs at prominent universities, such as Columbia University, the London School of Economics and Political Science, the Northwestern Kellogg School of Management, Harvard Business School Online, and Jagiellonian University, in the fields of strategy, management, and finance. She graduated from Kozminski University in Warsaw with an executive MBA.
