As Private Sector Development Officer at the European Commission (DG for International Development and Cooperation), Mr Garlando manages a series of projects on, financial inclusion and private sector development and trade policy. He specializes in small and medium enterprise (SME) financing, impact measurement, entrepreneurship in fragile communities and has deep experience working within and between the worlds of strategy, finance, entrepreneurship and academia. He is member of the Education and Employment Global Shapers Steering Committee, former Curator of the Global Shapers Community and strong advocate of youth communities, particularly refugees and marginalized people.
