Founder and Managing Director, Research Foundation for Governance in India, India

Kanan Dhru is the Founder of Research Foundation for Governance in India, a thinktank working towards legal and political reforms. She is a law-graduate from the London School of Economics, where she was awarded the ‘Honorary Studentship’. She has worked with the National Knowledge Commission - a Prime Minister\'s Advisory Body in New Delhi and the World Health Organisation in Geneva. She has been an External Consultant with McKinsey & Company and a Visiting Scholar at the Stanford University. She has been awarded many prestigious awards including the St. Gallen Wings of Excellence Prize, Wyse Emerging Leaders’ Fellowship and the Fulbright-Nehru Fellowship.
