Climate change has risen up the Security Council's agenda in recent years. Its members' stances often mirror their other geopolitical aims - but consensus is building.

In her career – via China, Colombia and New York – Karolina has advised governments and the United Nations on climate-related risks through her work at SIPRI. Today she is employed at the startup ClimateView, providing cities with a climate governance software, making co-benefits measurable. The company is behind Sweden's digitalized climate transition overview – the first in the world.
As a result of her voice in climate action, Karolina attended the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2020.
