Katherine Klemperer

Research Associate, Center for Global Development

Katherine Klemperer is a Research Associate with CGD’s Global Health team, focusing on antimicrobial resistance and health taxes. Prior to joining CGD, she worked with Weill Cornell Medicine’s Center for Global Health to carry out research on women’s health in Tanzania. She also has experience working in health policy through roles with the UK House of Commons Science and Technology Committee, the sexual health and rights team of American Jewish World Service, and the think-tank Polygeia.

Klemperer has an MSc in Health Policy, Planning and Financing from the London School of Economics and Political Science and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and a BA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
