Since 1988, career within DSM; joined Roche Vitamins as Marketing and Technical Manager, São Paulo; 1992, appointed Human Nutrition and Health Director, Roche, Mexico; 1998, moved to Singapore as Human Nutrition and Health Regional Director, Asia/Pacific; 2001, promoted to Vice-President, Global Industry Unit Food Pharma, Roche Vitamins’ headquarters, Basel, Switzerland. After Roche Vitamins acquisition by Royal DSM in October 2003, appointed Executive Vice-President and Head of Global Marketing, DSM Nutritional Products; January 2006, appointed President, DSM's Global Human Nutrition and Health business; June 2010, took the position of Chief Marketing Officer, DSM, headquarters, Heerlen. Since March 2015, back in Brazil as DSM Latin America President and Human Nutrition & Health Regional Vice-President; responsible for implementing regional strategies towards 16 countries in the region, leading more than 2,000 people. President, Global Malnutrition Partnership and Programmes and Chairman of the Board, Africa Improved Foods, Rwanda, to actively develop and implement public, private, and other partnerships, and programmes, effectively addressing hidden hunger and malnutrition issues.
