Miguel is the CEO of EDP, a global leader in renewables, networks and client solutions, with operations in 29 markets across Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia-Pacific. Miguel spent the early part of his career in Investment Banking and has been a leader at EDP since 2000. After being the CFO, Miguel became CEO of EDP and EDP Renewables in January 2021. Miguel is a member of the WBCSD Executive Committee and of the Alliance of CEO Climate Leaders. Miguel loves spending time in the ocean, whether it be sailing, surfing or just swimming.
