Temitayo (Tayo) Erogbogbo is Lead Multilateral Engagement Merck/MSD & Advocacy Lead, Merck for Mothers/MSD for Mothers, he has 20 years of combined private sector and international development experience, 15 years of which in the pharmaceutical industry occupying multiple roles that include government affairs with responsibilities for national, regional and multilateral relations, patient engagement, communications, marketing and sales. Most recently, assumed responsibility for Merck and MSD multilateral engagement, while also leading global advocacy for MSD’s flagship global philanthropic initiative (MSD for Mothers) this includes strategic engagement with organisations such as World Health Organization (WHO), World Bank, UNFPA, UNICEF, development agencies that include USAID, Gates Foundation, development banks such as the Asia, Africa and European Development Banks, research institutions and the development media, notably Devex.
In line with the missions of organisations and functions served (including in current role) have demonstrated strategic leadership in delivering against clearly defined goals to advance health equity by strengthening health systems across geographies (Europe, Africa and Asia) through global, regional and national policy and program development.
