As investor confidence in the Indian economy sustains, the time is right to invest in the nation’s next decade of growth and social transformation. In less than seven years, the median age of the country will be 29 years with over half of them living in urban areas. This at once raises grave challenges on sustainable urbanization, socio-economic mobility, environmental degradation, and infrastructure deficit. But what it also brings is the promise of a more entrepreneurial India with greater innovation hubs, an indigenous development model and an equitable society.
The 2015 National Strategy Day on India will explore some of these issues while aiming to drive its global multistakeholder community towards impact.
