As economic, political and societal reforms are under way in Japan, the world is also entering a new global context. Tackling important challenges in such a global context requires public-private cooperation. Under the theme “Transforming Japan in the New Global Context”, the World Economic Forum Japan Meeting 2015 will examine how Japan can transform itself while contributing to the global public good in a changing environment.
This meeting will provide a platform for the Forum’s multistakeholder community to discuss Japan’s national strategy. It will convene the brightest minds from politics, business, civil society and academia from both Japan and across the world. The meeting aims to foster interaction and cooperation between Japanese and global leaders as well as traditional and new leaders, helping them find new ways to achieve public-private cooperation.
