Riders for Health

Riders for Health creates and sustains systems to manage standard mechanical vehicles so they can fulfil their normal engineering potential under any conditions. Its strategy is to demonstrate replicable techniques in a number of African countries with widely varying conditions and to enable other bodies to replicate systems and procedures in their own country using the Riders International Academy of Vehicle Management in Zimbabwe. In 2005, it won the Best Practice Award for Global Development from the Global Health Council.
