Shonaquip works to create an inclusive, barrier-free society for people with disabilities, especially children. Shonaquip designs, manufactures and provides rural-appropriate wheelchairs and rehabilitation equipment, and clinical support services; Uhambo builds capacity in communities and breaks down barriers to access for these children and their families. Shonaquip generates its operating income through the sale of products and services. It has 30,000 direct programme beneficiaries annually. It works with government, civil society and the private sector to improve the lives and opportunities for children with mobility disabilities.
