Lawyer by training. 2005, 2008 and 2011, elected Vice-Chair, Transparency International. Involved in the Transparency International working group that helped draft the AU Convention on Preventing and Combating Corruption. Former President, Transparency International Cameroon; Cameroon Bar Association. President: Economic, Social and Cultural Council, African Union; Pan African Lawyers Union. January 2010, elected to the Panel of Eminent Persons, which oversees the African Peer Review process. Serves on several national commissions on legal reform and curbing corruption. Authored a guide to the Convention.
