Anass Hanafi is specializing in space law University of Turin and works as researcher on International Space Law in several institutes and think tanks.
He define himself as an Afro-European, born in Torino, with a moroccan background, he tries to enhance society using lobbying for good purposes such as creating bridges between different parts of the society.
He's Founder and President of NILI (Italian Inclusion Leaders Network), supported by the German Marshall Fund of the United States, organization that try to enhance leadership among the minorities, gathering citizens with different background that can produce a new value among the community.
He’s also founder of two student think tanks: Campus 4.0 and OIPI (Osservatorio Italiano di Politica Internazionale) at the University to try to understand the relations between technology and the future of our society and the international relations.
He is Fellow TILN (Transatlantic Inclusion Leaders Network) by the German Marshall Fund of the United States of America. He is also member of the Common Futures Conversation of the Chatham House.
In 2023 he received from the US Department of State the IVLP Alumni award for Social Innovation and Change.
