Dale T. Mortensen

1961, BA in Economics, Willamette University; 1967, PhD in Economics, Carnegie-Mellon University. Pioneered the theory of search and search unemployment and extended it to study labour turnover, personal relationships, and labour reallocation. Currently, Board of Trustees Professor, Northwestern University. Publications include over 60 scientific articles and two books. Recipient, 2010 Nobel Prize in Economics.
