Francesca Rossi

Francesca Rossi is a professor of computer science at the University of Padova, Italy, currently on leave at the IBM TJ Watson Research Center. She works in AI, specifically on preference reasoning and collective decision making systems, where she made significant contributions presented in over 170 scientific papers. She is heavily involved in several initiatives about AI ethics, such as the Future of Life Institute and the IEEE global initiative on ethical considerations on the development of autonomous and intelligent systems.
