Heather Grady

Vice-President, Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors

Heather is a Vice President in Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors’ San Francisco office, leading on global philanthropy and expanding efforts in impact investing and social enterprise, with a particular interest in positive and systemic social change. For two decades she lived and worked in Asia, Africa and the Middle East managing long-term development and humanitarian programs focused on themes including education, livelihoods, health, agriculture and microfinance. She has served as a Vice President at The Rockefeller Foundation and Managing Director of Realizing Rights: The Ethical Globalization Initiative, founded in 2002 by former Irish President Mary Robinson. Heather has an MA from Harvard and a BA from Smith College. She is conversant in Chinese and Vietnamese. She serves on a number of Boards and Advisory Groups including The B Team, the Business and Human Rights Resource Center, the Wildlife Justice Commission, and Forum for the Future.
