Katharina's mission in life is to make this world a better place through disruptive solutions at the root of our greatest social, political and environmental challenges. With a background in law, journalism, and organizational development, she found her passion in social entrepreneurship in 2010 as a pragmatic, hands on, and impacting way of making a difference. Today, she serves as Co-Founder and CEO at Three Coins, creating innovative learning methods for financial literacy through digital technologies. Full of ideas and always ready to launch a new venture, Katharina is actively seeks opportunities to connect and collaborate with partners across all sectors for joint projects.

In 2009, she was awarded a Fulbright grant to the US, where she focused her MA in Washington DC on the impact of Social Entrepreneurship on poverty reduction strategies of the World Bank. She then concluded her degree at the Diplomatic Academy in Vienna, while getting actively involved in the set-up of Ashoka in Austria with a focus on youth entrepreneurship, followed by founding Three Coins.

Katharina is an initiator and served as first curator of the Vienna Global Shapers.

Katharina is a long-term practitioner of Ashtanga yoga and meditation, loves reading, music, sharing life stories and ideas with people from different cultures and tries to spend as much offline-time in nature as possible.
