Rodrigo Pérez Mackenna

Civil Engineer, Pontifical Catholic University of Chile; MBA, IESE, University of Navarra, Spain. March 2010 - April 2011, Intendant, Bernardo O'Higgins Region, leading the government's rebuilding housing process after the earthquake and tsunami of 27 February 2010. Appointed by President Sebastián Piñera as Minister of Housing and Urban Development to lead the six-region reconstruction of 220,000 houses severely damaged as well as improve Chile's housing and urban ministry policies. November 2012, appointed by President Piñera as Minister of National Assets. Official duties include the promotion and coordination of the actions of both ministries and the execution of the National Assets Ministry's projects and activities. Has developed teaching activities as Professor of Costs and Economic Accountability as well as Finance, Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, Finis Terrae University and Los Andes University.
