Spent 17 years with the IFC: 1994, joined the IFC through the young professional programme; worked in the Asia Department; then specialized in the chemicals and petrochemicals sector; 2001, moved to Rio de Janeiro, focusing on transactions in Latin America; 2006, became Regional Director; 2008, became Vice-President, Latin America and the Caribbean, sub-Saharan Africa and Western Europe.
