Future of Space Economy

The Space Economy workstream is working on assessing future developments of the space sector and its effect on relevant industries. Through reports, workshops, discussions, interviews and analysis, the workstream looks to provide insights for, connections with, and action by diverse industry leaders.

The effects of the growing space sector can reach far beyond the satellite, launch, or data companies. There are numerous ways that space can impact seemingly unrelated industries – by improving efficiency and lowering costs, monitoring emissions, providing connectivity, tracking operations and much more.

Through collaborations with industry leaders and experts, this workstream will consider the future and interrelationships of space and other industries such as Agriculture, Energy, Tourism and beyond.
