What's happening with global cooperation?
The way countries cooperate is changing. Geopolitical tensions may be weakening the multilateral order, but smaller groups of countries with shared interests are finding ways to work together - especially when it comes to trade. Meanwhile, cross-border #cooperation on technology is also expanding, and countries are finding new ways to work together on climate action. But one area stands out for the wrong reasons: peace and security. Cooperation here has declined sharply, as #conflicts persist and forced displacement reaches record levels. The World Economic Forum has just published its annual Global Cooperation Barometer - and here discussing the findings are CEO and President Børge Brende, Managing Director Bathsheba Crocker, and Bob Sternfels, Global Managing Partner at McKinsey.
