These kids in Africa’s largest slum are coding their way to a brighter future

In Nairobi’s Kibera settlement, a special project offers cut-price coding classes. Giving children the chance to match their more affluent peers. Lessons at Code With Kids cost just 50 Kenyan shillings ($0.36) instead of 5,000 shillings ($36), as elsewhere in Nairobi. Pupils learn everything from coding games to robotics.
