Global Future Council on Trade and Investment
Global Future Council on Trade and Investment

Council mission and objectives
Trade and cross-border investment are crucial drivers of economic growth and development, without which the chances of delivering a vaccine, restoring livelihoods and securing economic recovery are bleak. Yet, international economic cooperation is faltering and existing rules and institutions are strained.
The Global Future Council on Trade and Investment will help stakeholders make sense of the new global economic landscape and signal developments on the horizon. It will be a voice of reason, grounded in fact and rising above nationalist perspectives while addressing legitimate concerns about globalization. It will reimagine trade governance and redefine the role of trade and investment in creating sustainable, resilient and equitable companies, economies and societies.
