Colombia has launched a biodiversity bond to save nature

The bond will be worth $50 million and will offer investors a fixed return while using the proceeds for conservation projects. Such as mangrove restoration, reforestation of degraded land and the protection of wildlife habitats. The bond will be issued by the banking group BBVA, and backed by the World Bank.
