This video is part of: Centre for Nature and Climate

The Gran Chaco spans over 1 million km² across Argentina, Paraguay, Bolivia and a small portion of Brazil. It’s as big as Spain and Germany combined, or two Californias. The Gran Chaco is a mix of savannas, wetlands, and dry tropical forests. It’s home to 3,500 plant, 500 bird and 150 mammal species, including the Chaco eagle.
