Sea lions are helping scientists to map the ocean floor

Scientists attached cameras with satellite trackers to 8 female sea lions. As the animals dived and foraged off the coast of South Australia over a period of 8 months. They travelled a collective 560km at depths of up to 110m, gathering more than 89 hours of footage.
