This video is part of: Centre for Nature and Climate

The UK’s clean energy sector grew by 10.1% last year. Its growth far outstripped that of the broader UK economy, which grew by just 0.9% last year. The UK’s net zero sector is made up of 22,000 businesses in areas including green finance, clean energy, electric vehicles, energy storage, green finance and recycling. Together they support almost 1 million full-time jobs, which together add £83 billion to the UK’s GDP.
