What is Quiet Hiring and How Could it Affect Your Workplace?

You’ve heard of quiet quitting, fast quitting, and quiet firing, now there’s a new buzz phrase: Quiet hiring. While quiet quitting was all about workers doing the bare minimum, quiet hiring is the opposite. This is when a business asks its workers to take on new tasks within the organization. So it can survive without hiring more staff, it can also mean plugging gaps by bringing in contractors or former staff on a temporary basis. There are also some risks to quiet hiring.
