Executive Chair, Banco Santander

Ana Botín is Executive Chair of Banco Santander, one of the largest and most efficient banks in the world, serving 160 million customers across Europe, North America and South America. Ana began her career at JP Morgan in New York, and in 1988 joined Santander where she led businesses in Latin America, Spain and the UK, before being appointed Executive Chair of the group board in 2014. She is Chair of the Institute of International Finance and the WEF International Business Council, as well as being a member of the board of the Coca-Cola company. She is also the founder and Chair of the charities, Fundación CyD and Empieza por Educar.
