Arnold Puech Pays d'Alissac is a family farmer from Normandy, France and the head of the World Farmers’ Organisation. As the world population rises, so does the need for farming. In the Future of Jobs Report 2025, ‘farmworker’ is the fastest growing role in the next 5 years with 35 million new vacancies set to be created by 2030. But the role of the farmer is changing too, says D’Alissac, amid the twin pressures of a changing climate and the global sustainability agenda.
