Anna Pienaar serves as Global Vice President, Corporate & Government Affairs at International Justice Mission. Her team applies IJM’s global expertise combatting slavery, human trafficking, forced labor, gender-based violence and police abuse of power to build effective partnerships that result in measurable change to people suffering injustice. Anna's team partners with foundations, governments and corporations to develop targeted research and programming that result in justice for the poor. Anna also serves on the executive board of the Global Battery Alliance and the advisory board of the Responsible Labor Initiative.
Anna has extensive experience in international development, including direct field experience in poverty alleviation; education; microfinance; and human rights programming in Africa, Asia and Latin America. She holds a MA in International Development from the University of Wales; a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management from Manchester MU Business School and a BA in politics and languages from the University of Manchester, UK.
